Where to start! How about our trip back home to Wyoming. We loved it! We all had so much fun visiting with everyone. We left early Friday morning and the 5 maybe 6 hour trip there ended up being close to 8. Full credit there goes to the "I need to go potty" phrase. Dan will tell you it was every 5 minutes, but it really was more like every 20.
We started the weekend at Wade and Marsha's house. The kids LOVED it. They ran and ran and ran some more. But after being in a car all day what else are you going to have them do? The fed the cows and threw rocks. William even went to "help" irrigate, since he has his boots on. Then it was kitty time! Those poor kitty's are probably glad the kids are gone. It was to cute, every time William would start back over to them, they would all take off. I wonder why, maybe after the 10th free fall they decided he wasn't as nice as his sisters. Whoo knows!
Then later that night we finally got to meet baby Jax. The girls were in love. I have the cutest picture of all them with her but I need to ask Angie first, sorry. Madison was so happy to see Auntie Angie and Uncle Luke, but even more so for Grandma Mona. Thank you Zane and Ramona for letting us stay at the house! We made it to the frog pond on Saturday and they had a blast. William didn't want to try the slide until right before we left, and then he made up for it! He went about a hundred times in 5 minutes. MaKayla the chicken that she is never did try it!
Sunday was time to go, the kids were so sad! And that's an understatement. We stopped and visited a few others before heading out of town. It was great to meet their family's. When we moved nobody had any kid, except us and now they all have some, so it was fun.
Last Wednesday was the start of school. Madison had her first day of Kindergarten. She was stoked!! I must admit I was a little sad to see her off to school, but to see her so happy about something again, melts my heart. She loves everything about school, her friends, desk, PE and even the bus ride! Everyday after school she asks when she can go back. William misses her so much while she is gone, and welcomes her home every day with a big ole hug and kiss.
